Liked: Great staff. Very accomodating and just awesome humans. They made the stay worth it. Suite was roomy and well decorated. Beach is across the street. Walking distance to the town.
Disliked: It is a cape style 2 level motel although rennovated. I had the suite which was roomy and nice but if I had a regular room would have been disappointed. Terrible mini fridge - they need to change this out asap (never seen one this small). No views from lodge. Didn’t use pool but very small - if I had brought my family would have been disappointed because pool area is so small - but again it is cape lodging so not typical hotel. No elevator. Not my favorite beaches on the cape. More of personal preference but worth noting.

Liked: Breakfast was fine. Liked coffee availability but would request having non dairy creamer available. Rooms were fine, however, refrigerator was extremely small. Also, closet hanging rods were too high to access comfortably. Overall, enjoyed our stay, loved the pool and can’t beat the location. Would return and recommend!

Disliked: Could use a bathroom door that actually closes. Hit or miss on housekeeping. One day my bed was made and the room was tidied and one day they cleaned but didn’t make the bed.

Liked: The property is located right across the street from the beach, which was great. There is also a pool area that was good. I was very happy to be able to bring my dog.
Disliked: While the old motel has been zhuzhed up nicely, it's pretty surface level. There is nowhere to sit in the rooms, just the beds. The "ample storage" is great if you're six feet tall, but for a 5'3 woman there was simply no chance of reaching the hangers in the closet. The refrigerator was barely big enough to put medicine in, never mind a bottle of wine or container of take out. Since there is no breakfast offered and nothing super close by (walking distance) to grab food, having someplace to keep food would have really helped. The rooms are not cleaned while you are there. Apparently they do something called a "refresh" which basically means they take out the trash and give you new towels. I asked twice, each day we were there after the first when I learned they do nothing, to please have the bathroom cleaned but it never happened. Another guest that we met there at the pool said their room had drain flies in the tub drain. I would have left. The lock on the pool entrance lets you in, but in order to leave you have to literally reach through the bars and lift the latch from the outside. This strikes me as pretty dangerous, and unnecessary. Just install the inside hardware! The pool towels and trash in the pool area weren't emptied from the day before until well into the morning, which was unpleasant.So, location is great but be prepared. It's not cheap and what you get for it is location to the beach.
