Dropped The Ball Where It...

Liked: I like how close both towns are, I can choose between DeLand or Orange City for food options. I also like the quick access to I-4 as well. The pool was nice and warm, nice size. The rooms were big and spacious for a family of 4 to freely move about without feeling like we're on top of one another. I like how well kept and maintained the property is as far as that landscaping goes. I love the touch screen mirror in the bathrooms as well.
Disliked: Boy oh boy, I have a plethora of things I didn't like. We booked for 4 nights so let's start with the small stuff first. The room we booked didn't look like the photos posted in the description. Walk into the room, it's extremely hot & muggy & the outer casing to the a.c unit is sitting on the floor. I pop it back on & turned it on. I expect the room & so far it looked good. The beds were hard & seem smaller for a "full" size bed, but we made due. Now the major issue, the 2nd night rolls thru & i noticed a German cockroach was crawling on the dresser where the TV was. I killed it, thinking nothing of it but taking a mental note. Then later on that day, I noticed another one in the bathroom .. so now this is officially strike 1 .. killed it & moved on.. shortly after I found another one in the closet & later on that night I noticed 2 of them on the night stand & 1 crawling on the floor by the bed & that's when they struck out for me. 10/10 WOULDNT RECOMMEND.

Liked: The hotel was very clean and modern. It was a great location. The staff was very friendly. The pool was wonderful. I would definitely stay again.
Disliked: Nothing that I didn't like.

Disliked: Not very clean, bed linens with marks of burns by cigars. We never get our 100 deposit back even when we called facility many times and rook was intact at checkout
