For the most part a...
Liked: Location was good because my daughter lives in Carlyle, Ky. She had just had a baby so it was nice to stay close to her for a few days. Room was cleaner than most I have stayed in. It was quiet, but I believe we were the only guests staying there. Staff was very friendly.
Disliked: TV was tiny. Did not receive room service the length of the stay. Was walked in on in my skivies because there was no “do not disturb” sign. Bed was not that comfortable. Needs a memory foam bad. Don’t like being lied to by booking.com. I received an email saying that my special request would be taken care of at no extra charge only after the stay to receive an email saying it wasn’t possible because the location didn’t have the item I asked for. A sauna tub in the room. Should have known that before hand.

Disliked: The beds was lumpy. Ice machine was down on our end of the lodge. The room next door kept there TV up real loud all night .

Beautiful place to unwind.
Liked: As usual, everything with the property was incredible. Everyone was super friendly, it was mostly quiet and the weather was great.
Disliked: Since so many people bring their dogs now, they let them walk around and use the bathroom without cleaning up after them. I also didn’t see any wildlife this time. Normally we see deer, rabbits, squirrels and even opossums and raccoons on occasion and once we even saw a bobcat. This time, only 3 or 4 little finch like birds.
