It is a good place...

Liked: It was clean and tidy. Rooms were not too cramped
Disliked: We were told we would get our deposit back upon end of trip (told us when we checked out) yet have received nothing and the hotel has not responded to messages.

Personally, I would not choose...

Liked: I didn't have breakfast. The location is quite okay.
Disliked: The beds are very bad. I had a room with two beds pushed together. The single bed and the mattress are very narrow, very bad, I was sinking into the mattress. And the mattress is sliding off the bed.

Liked: There are no surprises at this hotel. It's very basic, but it's centrally located, the beds are very comfortable and the bedding clean.It has no breakfast but there are many many restaurant from all over the world just around the corner!There was an elevator which was a huge bonus!!I feel some reviews were a bit harsh.
Disliked: The carpeting throughout the building is stained, old, and really horrible to look at. That said it is vacumned within an inch of it's life every day so it's clean; if that makes sense. And it helps with sound proofing.I was lucky enough to be on the 3rd floor so noise from people and traffic was not an issue. I would recommend asking for a room on the 2nd/3rd floors.There is a lively bar next door which can be busy up until closing, but then quiets down.

Liked: It is a budget hotel and perfectly fine for an affordable place to sleep in the city. Staff were very nice and we dropped our luggage before check in easily.
Disliked: Nothing, it was fine for 1 night.
