Fair value for the price...

Liked: Overall, this was once a very nice Motel but has seen better days. The room was large and clean but the toilet was broken and ran all night. Cabinet doors were broken and just signs everywhere of lack of maintenance. The room was inexpensive so I could let a few of these things slide. The man at the front desk (the only staff member I saw) was very pleasant and helpful. The bed was uncomfortable but the pillows were awful.
Disliked: The pillows arere terrible. had a two queen room and each bed only had two pillows. Each pillow was the cheapest pillow you could imagine, no support, no comfort. Combining two pillows didn't even make one regular pillow. We finally gave up on trying to sleep and checked out about 4 hours earlier than we had planned. I should have thought to bring my own pillows but this is a really bad place to cut corners at a motel.

Will not return!

Liked: It was very poor
Disliked: Beds were very hard & uncomfortable! Tv was not big enough for everyone in a double queen bed to watch. I hurt my back sleeping on the beds!

Awful

Liked: There was nothing to like, entire facility was gross. Pool was closed, fitness room was closed, the two main things we chose the facility for in the first place. It doesn't appear they have spared a single dollar to fix, maintain, clean or upkeep ANYTHING in quite some time. Absolutely nothing like the pictures online.

Disgusting environment and unhelpful employees

Liked: Nothing. It was disgusting and staff were not helpful on the slightest
Disliked: I couldn’t even get the manager‘s number or get them to have the manager get a hold of me about discussing a refund of some extent because there were roaches in the bedroom three we found in there and one in the elevator on our way out.

Exceptional

There's a reason the hotel...

Liked: It was only 15 minutes away from IWU and a nice drive to get to the hotel.
Disliked: Breakfast was disappointing. There was no protein (meat, eggs, bacon etc). There was only an automatic pancake maker. They did not have individual toppings. They had 1 jar of peanut butter for everyone to share. They had the smallest yogurts, 1 gallon of milk (for everyone to share) and a small container of OJ. Tables were sticky and food on the floor. The air conditioning unit in the room had goo on it (gross). The bathtub looked like someone put scuff marks all over it from their shoes (to include the walls). 1 roll of toilet paper that was just on the counter because the holder was broke. A toilet that took a LOOONG time to flush. Bring your own pillow, there's are small and kept falling between the mattress and the headboard.
