Great stay in the heart...

Liked: Perfect location, very nice decoration and atmosphere, friendly staff, great breakfast
Disliked: Small maintenance is needed: water from bathroom tap and shower heads goes everywhere but hardly on you, power outlet at bedside hangs loose, saloon doors of bathroom do not close.At asking price a box of tissues in the bathroom is expected. We never need them but previous guests took the accessories and left an unnoticed empty box.

Exceptional

Very nice and friendly.

Liked: The staff was very nice and accommodating with food preferences. Even going out of their way to get us something new. We had the bridal suite. It was very roomy and spacious. And the staff walked us through all the facilities that we could use. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Overall a really good stay.
Disliked: There were only two things that bothered me. One of those things were the broken items. The toiletseat was broken somehow and after notifying the staff about it they already seemed to be aware. Another thing that was broken was one of the showers. It couldn't be turned off or on since the handle was missing. When this is one of you USP's since you have two showers so you can shower along side eachother it was a bit disappointing. And a small tip for the staff is to check the drawers too. When I opened it there were items of precious customers in there.

Bad

Liked: The place looks really nice and even the room, but just not the right one.
Disliked: We booked and paid for a room with a jacuzzi. Upon arrival me and my wife found out we had been given the wrong room.A discussing started and apparently we had a confirmation of the Bliss room, which is not the right room. No refund was possible, so dissapointed we went to our room. Were later the warm bath would trigger the silent smoke alarm, so the hotel employee entered the room. Asking if there was a so called 'fire', which there was not off course.Half an hour later we get a knock on the door and when I opened the door, the manager was there with 2 police men. We were ordered to leave the room, for setting off the smoke alarm on purpose and being aggressive towards the hotel staff. Our response was that we would comply, but we expect a refund for the room. This was acknowledged by the manager and police were witness to this. Only to find out that by the time we were at the reception there was no refund. She would have to wait untill monday for booking.com to decide.Almost A week has passed and nothing thus far......

Superb

Great pedestrian location for shopping.

Liked: Very large room, very comfortable. Good location for local restaurants and shopping.
Disliked: While it was a good location to access shops, it was bad for arrival. I paid for a taxi from Schipol and it ended up dropping me off about a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel which is in a pedestrianised area, not good with two large suitcases, even with good wheels, because the whole area has cobble stones. Also the room was spacious and comfortable, but the bathroom was very weirdly shaped, poorly lit (especially to do makeup).

Gorgeous boutique hotel in the...

Liked: Boutique hotel in the heart of the city center. Rooms are spacious with their own theme. This hotel is almost at the main square in the city center, you can almost touch the church. If you plan a city trip to Breda this is the ideal spot. All restaurants, shops, bars etc are in walking distance. A few doors to the left of the entrance of the hotel is a great cigar shop with a wide variety of cigars, lighters etc. Worth a visit if you are a cigar (or pipe) smoker.
Disliked: If you like a quiet stay do not pick this hotel. Across the street you have a popular bar that is very busy at night, especially on the weekend. If you are a light sleeper this will definitely be something you want to avoid. Also, as this hotel is situated in the city center it is almost impossible to reach the hotel by car. The hotel is 15 mins walk from the central station so I would advice traveling by train.

Disliked: Shower drain clogged.

Pleasant

Liked: Breakfast was good and location was amazing.The accommodation had a great view to the church just in the center.It was also quite big, together with the bathroom and living room.
Disliked: The hot water wasn't working in the shower and it was completely clogged from previous usages. We ended up using the bathtub, but the shampoo and body lotions were all stuck with the sink and the shower.Was nice that there was a cot, but the mattress was really used (or just very very soft it the middle) and our 7 month old baby was completely stuck in it. Would have preferred to pay an additional fee but having something a bit better.
