Blanch House

Would stay again but would book with them direct.

Liked: The staff, location and the hotel itself were all excellent.
Disliked: The fact that the full cost of the stay was taken from my bank on Monday and when I arrived on Thursday was told I had to pay again as the payment on Monday was from Booking.com (the reference on the pending transfer says Blanch House) people, and I still have not received the money back yet. Very angry at this in fact.

An Excellent Choice for Central...

Liked: It is conveniently situated in Kempton, a few minutes walk to the centre. The staff, Yana and Valentina, could not do more to make you feel welcome. The rooms are compact but perfectly comfortable. Breakfast, especially the Full English, is excellent. We will return next time we are visiting Brighton.
Disliked: If you book through Booking.com, be on your guard if you get a follow-up email which purports to be from the Blanch Hotel threatening cancellation if you do not give your bank details. NEVER DO THIS. It is a scam. The hotel is aware and is actively trying to shut the scam down.

Clean, great location, friendly staff...

Liked: On a positive note, the staff were very welcoming and friendly, which made our stay more pleasant. The location is also a major plus — it’s close to the beach and within walking distance of most restaurants, shops, and attractions.
Disliked: Although the place was very clean overall, it felt quite outdated and understaffed. The room we stayed in was very small and slightly uncomfortable because of its size. The shower was also extremely small — we could barely fit in it.

Disliked: A slightly bigger bathroom although appreciate that bedroom size. Not many plug sockets had to unplug things to use hairdryer etc.
