It was a lovely place...

Liked: Location was excellent as it's close to the train station in a very nice area. Staff were friendly and professional as well as helpful. Beds were comfortable and they had fans available for use when the weather was warmer.
Disliked: The bathroom addition added within the room in the corner with the plumbing outside of the room was less than desirable as the noise was at a level that woke one up if used during the night. The room was also tight on space, but then again this could be my fault as I did not check to see the full room size prior to booking.

Decent stay for the money....

Liked: Convenient location
Disliked: No A/C. Hard beds and springs poking me. No vending machines.

Very good

Liked: A typically compact budget single room. However, a lovely and rather elegant decor, as opposed to the usually more sterile budget room. Photos are very true Terrific location. 15 min walking distance to Victoria rail, Gatwick Express, Victoria Underground, and Pimlico underground. 15-20 min walk to Tate Britain. If you enjoy walking, a very doable walk past Buckinhgam Palace, via The Mall, to Trafalgar Square. Quieter end of Belgrave St. Attractive area with a number of local pubs and restaurantsAt q
Disliked: As the hotel makes clear, there is no lift, which could pose a problem for someWould have welcomed one more hook on bathroom door

Great value for money, exceptional...

Liked: The staff was extremely helpful. Quite literally the most heartwarming and kind people I've met throughout a long series of trips. Very understanding, helped with my baggage and overall just an amazing experience. The hotel is super cozy and really gives off that old-London vibe.
Disliked: The bed's aren't great to sleep on, but that's okay. Due to the location, everyone should be aware that you will be prompted with lots of noise, especially during the night, but you're central. There wasn't a lot of hygiene products (I've barely had soap for the length of my stay), but I could have probably reached out for more.

Basic clean but extraordinarily tight,...

Liked: Central location and near to Pimlico underground tube station (some steps no lift). Staff friendly and courteous. Bed linen clean, bed and pillow hard but ok. Street reasonably quiet for London and seemed safe. Within walking distance, but not adjacent, were a couple of cafes, small grocers, and limited restaurants - Indian and one small Pizza Express.
Disliked: Space extremely limited. Had to put suitcase on the only small table and bag on chair, leaving no space to sit down or table to write at. No bedside table and had to use extension cord for phone charger on corner of table balanced next to suitcase (old wiring?). Toilet with tiny shower was a box room added into what used to be a Victorian style bedroom and had no place for wash bag except balanced high over toilet. Fire escape was down main narrow staircase (no exterior ladder). Many many stairs up to fourth and fifth floor without lift.

Passable

Liked: The location is excellent!
Disliked: The facilities are very old and rather impractical for families. For example, the toilet attached to our triple bedroom was so extremely loud (I cannot describe how loud, because I have never in my life heard that a toilet can be so loud when flushed!) that if someone went to the bathroom during the night it automatically woke up everyone. Similarly, if one turns on the light in the bathroom, it lights the entire room! The location is great, but unless traveling alone, it is difficult to get much sleep!

Poor

Liked: Beds were clean. Location was not bad.
Disliked: Room was very small and isolated in the ground floor, not similar to what has been shown in the photos on the website. They have no left luggage service although it has been mentioned in the FAQs on their website. Staff was not updated with what on or what is not on their website. Room was not clean except for the beds. Thankfully we enjoyed our visit as we had been all day out and we came only for sleep.
