Liked: Very engaged , friendly and helpful staff, from the evening staff on reception and check in to the morning catering staff at breakfast. It's the first time I have stayed at a hotel based in a football stadium, and - although not a "normal " hotel in a lot of ways, it was a genuinely enjoyable experience, and - yes - If I need another stay over in Blackpool , I would be happy to stay here.
Disliked: I think most people who have visited Blackpool in recent years would say it's not the place they remember from summer holidays with their family as children.. The streets surrounding the stadium are pretty run down and my partner was not a happy chappy when we ventured out to find a store / supermarket for snacks and wine ( we arrived fairly late at the venue and the catering had finished )

Disliked: The bar chooses to close when it wants to despite having opening times. We went in at 10pm on a Saturday night to be told we could have a drink but we had to take it to our room as the barman wanted to clean the bar.

Liked: Lovely room overlooking the pitch Paid for half board .Both breakfast and 2 course evening meal was excellent as were the bar staff who were very helpful
