Beautiful, expensive and less than...

Liked: Beautiful property with hidden gardens and parking. Wonderful example of the craftsman bungalow with stained glass and natural elements throughout.
Disliked: Staff was rigid, not super friendly, and slow to respond. Requests were treated suspiciously with an inclination to say “no” immediately.

Liked: The architecture is beautiful. We loved all the dark wood and stained glass, thick carpeting, and comfortable beds. We spent a great deal of time on the patio. The spa tub was fabulous, and the breakfast was always good and filling. There was always coffee, tea, water, sodas, granola snacks, and fruit out. It was very comfortable and quaint. The staff was nice and helpful in person or by text if we needed anything. I would definitely recommend the Blackbird Inn!

Good stay and value for...

Liked: The room was very spacious and had a small kitchen which was equipped and very convenient. Swimming pool with towels provided. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. We didn’t have issues with parking , but it wasn’t high season
Disliked: Nothing specific we didn’t like, the staff wasn’t very friendly when we checked in, but it didn’t impact our stay. It took more than a week to receive the deposit ( this was much longer than in other hotels)

Liked: This was a very nice bed and breakfast.It was comfortable and clean and had a lot of character.The breakfasts were delicious. They also accommodated special requests (ex. I didn't want smoked salmon on my breakfast toast).They have cookies and coffee in the lobby and a happy hour in the afternoon.The location is convenient. You can easily walk to the shops and restaurants downtown.
Disliked: There was no mini fridge in the room, although there was one in the common area of both buildings that guests could use.

Liked: Unique rich wood design. Loved the happy hour. The breakfasts were a nice touch. Hot water in the shower. The carpets were lush and thick
Disliked: The room was a little small. The bed a little too firm for me.
