Overall a comfortable stay in...

Liked: Superb value. Convivial host. Excellent breakfast. Comfortable warm room. Ample parking space.
Disliked: Being a former coaching inn I should have anticipated that it might be sited on a main road or junction. Indeed it is both. Being a light sleeper this was a slight issue for me due to the early morning commuter traffic. If available, it might be that a quieter room towards the rear of the building would prove more suitable.

Liked: The location of the house in the village was very nice. Easy to find and good parking.
Disliked: Nothing really except dogs in the dining room. Although it was advertised as dog friendly.

Disliked: The bed and pillows were hard we both had bad backs sore hips and heads and consequently had little sleep Artificial flowers could all do with a wash or thrown out
