Superb

Liked: Interesting house, unlike a typical boring hotel. There was a nice flower garden with fontain, the room was quite spacious and full english breakfast was amazing. A nice pub The Monument nearby, also close to the railtoad from London and to a bus station to Wistable.Finally, a good shower door without leaks.
Disliked: One time, there were drunk teenagers on the street after dark, distirbing the silence, but they quickly left, and that was the only noize that bothered us throughout our stay.

Nice, quiet hotel, in perfect...

Liked: Hotel is in a fantastic location, 5 minute walk from the station and less than 10 minute walk into centre, yet hotel in really quiet road. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was nice and had everything needed for a comfortable stay, even a fridge which was great as weather was very hot. The bed was really comfortable.
Disliked: The breakfast was a bit basic and could be improved, but was okay. I stayed in Room 8, would be good to have blackout blinds.

Liked: Very comfortable, efficient and close to city centre & train station
Disliked: Had to run water quite a while to get it hot

It looked like some maintenance...

Liked: Breakfast was ok.
Disliked: Ensuite too small.

Liked: Breakfast there was a lovely choice of both continental and cooked and it was all very fresh Location was idea as it was a 6/7 min walk into the town centre And the river

Disliked: Beware Beware Bewarewe, booked this property Black Horse inn Canterbury as we like the style and look of the property with vintage style with vinatge furniture and the property being old with British heritage.we, was given the a room on the first floor. Where you has to climb very dangerous staircase carrying suitcases.definatly a health and safty issue.the room was cold with no heating, the old style fireplace was covered in dust and electrical light fitings hanging from the ceiling in the bathroom.we, sent a mesaage to the property through the booking.com app. they replied back with in two hours that the heating is on a times and would come through at 7pm.7Pm came no heating we reached out to booking. com through the mesage app and they infomed us someone would come to the property to check the issue.two person arrive at 7.30pm we had dinner appointmnet and had to infome our friends of the delay.one was lady from ukrain or russia and a enginer. they infomed us they could not fix the issue with the raditors heating in the room she infomed us she was the receptionist after asking her position.We asked to speak with the manager as we wanted to cancel the booking with full refund as the facilities could not be provided and room was not cleaned and many defects.the ukrain person infomed us she could not approve the request and would call the owner on calling the owner no reply or did she in fact call who knowes.however she offered us another room type as we had no choice as a dinner oppointmnet waiting and its geeting late.the new room room type on the lower level with garden access.the room type very bad maintanance the sky light ceiling on the entrance not sealed and covered in plastc ratterling in the wind. the doors leading to the garden the bolts broken garden furniture in terrible condition could not sit on them. tthe garden run down, No manger availabe unprofesional attitude just after your money stay away
