Liked: This motel was a quaint little setup. I wasn't sure what to expect because it was at the lower end of the cost scale for the time we went, and motels usually don't have the best features. There was no breakfast, but there is a microwave and fridge in the rooms, so you can bring your own foods. The first day I got there to check in, it was very early in the day, and no one was in the building. I waited for about 15 minutes to get checked in, but when someone came, they were friendly and very apologetic. My room happened to be ready, and I was able to get in right away which was very nice! The rooms are a bit older and basic, but cozy. The parking spaces are VERY small. =) The outside pool was closed. The indoor pool was open and heated. There is a jacuzzi and a cute little slide that goes into the pool. It was very clean. There is a small game room which was fun. We received a free passes to visit Timbavali for our stay. (Which, by the way, is NOT worth the entrance fee they charge. Glad we got to visit for free!) Overall, I was very pleased with this motel, and would GLADLY come back and stay. Just enough outside of the main town to be away from the congestion, but still within walking distance to all the shops. AND the price was right! =) Thank you Black Hawk Staff!!
Disliked: The smell in the room. The weak water pressure in the shower.The small parking spaces.The beds weren't the most comfortable, but ok. (If you like a firm mattress, then its good)

Liked: The staff was energetic, took extra steps to everything in top shape. Polite and professional while keeping a family friendly atmosphere.
Disliked: The outside pool and hot tub was close due to it being October, however, an outside hot tub would be amazing in cool weather.
