Liked: The staff were very friendly. Meals at the hotel were excellent. The rooms were large.
Disliked: Everything was perfect.

Disliked: The shower was filthy floor and walls needed a decent clean

A great welcome to Hobart...

Liked: The staff are extremely helpful. Our plane was delayed due to airline changing flight times. The lady at reception arranged to have the room keys on outside key safe and text me the instructions on how to access it. When we arrived a kind staff member from the bar showed us where the safe was and helped us get in. The hotel bistro was very affordable and the quality and size of the meal excellent. We would happily stay here again.
Disliked: Like all older hotels the decor was a little dated and there was some mould on the bathroom walls but for this price it is something one has to expect. It would not stop me from staying here again.

Disliked: My room was straight across from a parking light and lit up the room all night

It was a suitable spot...

Liked: We didn't have breakfast.Would have liked a menu to have something more satisfying.
Disliked: Bathroom was very dated and the shower taps didn't work very well.

Cheap and cheerful!

Liked: The convenient parking, the large room, kettle, toaster and fridge. The friendly and helpful staff - especially the cleaning staff who were just lovely. I do like the Black Buffalo - the location is great and it's good value for money. We stay here a lot. Don't expect a 5 star experience and you'll be happy.
Disliked: No hair dryer! No hand towels! The shower asperationally got to tepid .. I do like a hot shower so that was slightly disappointing (and unusual for this hotel - normally a hot shower is on the cards). Pressure was good though.

Liked: Rooms were comfortable and had all we needed, and restraunt good pub food.
Disliked: No hairdryer in the room but other than that good enough for us
