Disliked: A/C didn't really work, no housekeeping was provided, TV remote randomly worked, no phones in room to call front desk

Liked: It is very conveniently located. Good upkeep and fairly clean. Pool area was fun for the kids.

Liked: It’s convenient location to most stops we make.
Disliked: It seems there have been many changes since our last stay and I can say confidently it was not worth near the price we had paid for the weekend. They now require a $100 deposit when you check in, we had already paid for the room in full when we booked online. I’ve never heard of this at any other places we have stayed before. When we first arrived to the room, we noticed 3 pillows on each bed the size of a decorative couch pillow. When we went down to the pool, we noticed signs all over the doors and tables that bringing your own drinks into the area is now permitted, which used to be convenient for parents to be able to watch their kids and socialize without leaving them unsupervised. We were ready to leave and noticed you now need to go to the front desk to check the towels out to your room for pool use. When we got back to our room after a day of softball, our room had not been clean, nor had we had new towels to shower. When we went to call the front desk, I had noticed we didn’t even have a phone in the room anymore!!! We used a cell to call the front desk to request we get new towels and asked about the room not being cleaned and were told that needed to be requested for housekeeping to come now. This used to be our favorite place to stay. We have stayed in some of the rooms they’ve updated and were super nice but overall I think the motel is going downhill and overpriced for the services to be no longer offered. We were highly disappointed and will be finding a new place to stay when we come to town from now on.

Travel back in time to...

Liked: The location of the hotel to other parts of Bismarck was convenient.
Disliked: It was outdated, dirty, and generally run down. The pool area was disgusting and appeared to have not been properly cleaned in years (see attached photos). There was even a clear safety hazard with a lattice fence haphazardly attached to the original fence separating the children’s pool area from the larger pool. Every employee that I encountered seemed sad and uninterested — and honestly, I would be too if I had to work in a place like that. There was spilled popcorn on the floor in an entryway that was left the entire weekend.
