Terrible

Liked: Nothing.
Disliked: It was shocking did not stop in the room in the end I did a 2 hour drive home as the room was dirty I have made a enquiry for my money back

Lovely hotel, wonderful staff and...

Liked: I booked an over night stay and also Spa Treatment which was booked on there site I was greeted at reception and given my key all staff were welcoming. The room was small but cosy with kettle and a good selection of hot drinks, I liked that there was some cookies and a packet of crisps and a sparkling water on the dressing table with a chair. The bathroom was spacious with a shower and their shower gel was nice. A cupboard with hanger ,iron and ironing board and there where supposed to be robes in there so a when I made the staff aware the bought one up for me. They provided Netflix which kept me entertained. the treatment I had was very good a lot of effort to make make me feel good and I was relaxed after and I was able to use the pool sauna and steam room.
Disliked: The blinds in the bathroom were hard to figure out, I could open and close the shutters but to close it for decency was hard so I asked reception and someone was sent up, when he came he made an effort close it but it was to high for him to complete the task and there was still a gap so I had to keep the door to the bathroom open which shielded the view while having my shower just for piece of mind. to be far the room was tucked a way on an corner off the hotel but from inside I could see out side so was not sure what could be seen form the outside. just saying.

Liked: Lovely appearance - very clean - staff very friendly - lovely setting next to a golf course
Disliked: Could do with modernising decor

Decent stay....bit overpriced for what...

Liked: Nice place, decent spa....nice grounds
Disliked: Food is overpriced for what it is , bar staff to busy doing other tasks leaving bar unattended for prolonged periods..Spa only available until exact time of checkout, which you are not told about by reception staff We paid for a superior room upgrade, but if what we got was a superior room, then I'd dread to think what a standard room is,

Easy stay for one night

Liked: The vast amount of snacks and drinks in the room for us and the quiet location
Disliked: Mattress needs updating in room as it was very lumpy and huge dips in it, shower also did not drain away so was stood in a mini bath in a shower cubicle.

Superb

Very relaxing and enjoyable.

Liked: Liked the ambience
Disliked: The adjoining function had a few guests who thought it was funny to run up and down the corridor knocking at most of the doors late at night.

Hotel clean, excellent facilities, staff...

Liked: The room was clean, staff were very friendly. There was a good choice at breakfast. The swimming pool and Gym were excellent.
Disliked: Our room was a little small and had no view. The pillows were very hard and uncomfortable.

Disappointed

Liked: Not much other then the location
Disliked: The images in the booking site are very misleading- genuinely felt that this was a high end venue and prices at £240 a night I thought this would be true too. Very dated, microwaved food in the overpriced bar, the room was like an Army barracks block
