Birchwood Spa Motel

Very good

Liked: The spa and the depth. Comfy bed. Good shower
Disliked: Very basic amenities. The fan in the toilet is very loud. I didn't think about the heavy traffic on the road.

Superb

Liked: Bed was comfortable and hot tub was amazing
Disliked: Someone else parking in our spot. Could use a little visitors parking

Would not recommend

Disliked: We booked a relaxing weekend away. Booked here as looked good, had a private hot tub per room. We found the Hot tub only worked for 2 minutes at a time. You had to jump out and push the button on other side of door well away from hot tub. It states it runs for 8 minutes then needs a rest. We timed it, run time was only two minutes. The shower had mould round the floor and door. Ceiling in bathroom disgusting. The bathroom Lino was mouldy and lifting, this seems to be because bubbles from the shower come up a waste trap outside the door. The toilet button kept getting stuck on flushing, meaning noisy water pipes running. Terrible sleep due to water pipes - also sounded like when room above flushed toilets you could hear pipes through walls. Cigarette butts on ground by spa pool when arrived, from potential previous guests??? Makes you wonder how much cleaning is completed between guests. Says sky tv available. Was not, just a select amount of free to view channels

Great stay, good experience nice...

Liked: Price was great, was perfect for my lil family we had everything we needed in the unit we had. Staff pleasant was easy to check in. Comfortable can’t complain with the price. Good experience staying here would stay again.
Disliked: Wifi was really bad kept trying to connect all the time. But everything else was good. Unit has a bit of wear and tear but fine for us was satisfactory clean.
