This place is rude and...
Disliked: When we went to check-in, they told us they had cancelled the reservation as the stay was not long enough. This was graduation weekend for Norte Dame University so there were no rooms available in the Niles MI/South Bend IN area. Thanks to a friend found a place in St, Joseph MI but it was twice the cost of Birch Hills. We were disappointed in book.com as we received notice 5 days before again confirming our reservation.

Under renovation, potential to be...
Liked: Front desk manager was very helpful and friendly. I can also see they are in the midst of a renovation, so I expect them to get better.
Disliked: They are not ready yet. Room had a broken cabinet door, broken light switch that also turned on at night when I was sleeping because it was motion-activated, remote control fixed with electrical tape, dirty walls, dirty tub, ruffled sheets and pillows, dirty sheets, dirty windows, dirty bathroom mirror, damaged bathroom door, seat that did not fit the toilet, rusted drain in the tub, elevator with broken tiles that smelled like beer, drawer with water damage, and internet that did not work with my device, and non-working phone in the room.

Worst hotel I ever booked...

Disliked: Worst hotel I ever booked and good never stayed. Paid by CC on Aug 2024, but when I got to my room it was dirty as hell plus extreme Marviana smell. So, I told them to give me another room, for that clerk said non other available. I told him to reverse the charge I can't stay, he said he doesn't have the authority, but tomorrow manager will do that. It's more than 3 weeks no charge back or call, called them more than 10 times, each time they say manager will call back and you'll get your money back in 3 days, but till today Aug 28th 2024 nothing happened.

Liked: Nothing they called at 315 pm while we were on our way to check in and informed me they had no room for us and it didn’t matter that we booked through booking 2 wks prior to check it! Very bad customer service

Disliked: This was terrible stay was outside smoking and laughing and we had to wait 10mins till we got helped. There were all types of people hanging outside it smelled like smoke I didn't even stay I walked inside and turned back around its is gross
