Liked: A very quiet neighborhood just 3 underground stops from Willy Brandt Platz, where I needed to be for work. The air conditioning worked fine, but I was lucky it was not too hot outside (29 degrees when I landed, but then there was a storm) and I slept with the window open and no air conditioning. The room was on the 4th floor, no noise. Very nice staff, super breakfast, nice desk in the room. The room had a big window, good curtains to make it dark. The area does not offer as many eating options as the city centre, but I often choose to get some food from a local store, and there's a REWE supermarket just 5 minutes' walk from the hotel, so that was fine for me. There are also some restaurants in the area, but it's mostly a residential area, and a very nice one, too. It took me less than 20 minutes to get from the hotel to Willy Brandt Platz, including walking. Buy your metro tickets in advance though, if you don't want to risk a fine. The metro does not have turnstiles, but checks are frequent.
Disliked: Nothing negative. All was fine! I did not ask, and I don't know if you can get one, but there was no iron in the room (not too bad, anyway). I also had my own bathing cap (you seldom find them nowadays, it's fair, less plastics around).
