A fine hotel with friendly...
Liked: The hotel and grounds are beautiful, The staff friendly and helpful. The location is in the center of greater Miami. One of the country's great resort hotels.
Disliked: The 19th Hole restaurant blares three TVs. Zero would have been better, especially as one of them was playing CNN. They also turned on a fan louder than a 787 taking off. One waiter said that she was required to leave it on, a second turned it off.

Liked: Been to the biltmore several times. At check in asked for upgrade (veterans day weekend - 20 year army veteran - was told nothing was available. 1st room was practically servant quarters - nice view of a full dumpster - Bathroom door wouldnt stay closed. Complained nicely and suddenly something became available - for a former VA hospital i thought they might be s little vet friendly - apparently not. Upgraded to a nice room with balcony Brunch was very good as always. Gym was good, sauna in mens locker room needs to be renovated - didnt seem clean. 2nd day pool disaster - filter system backed up into pool - disgusting green slick. Pool closed for duration - evennafter a day there was still debris floating in the pool - visual cleanup would lessened the impact. Fontana dinner was ok - nice courtyard setting - bread not good. housekeeping not very timely - made up our room at almost 430pm - out of three nights got turndown service once. Spa was the highlight - probably best couples message we ever had. At checkout looked for some compensation for all of this - was offered to remove resort fee for one night $22 - laughable - woman at the desk seemed genuinely irritated with me when i nicely expressed my disappointment with our stay and gave her a chsnce to make it right - i had to ask her if SHE was going to ask ME how our stay was - the manager didnt do anything for us by email. We really LOVED the biltmore - now its seems to be just another old grand dame hotel where service is mediocre and they dont miss an opportunity to charge you for something - wont be returning

Disliked: Staff with attitude on front desk Pool out of use - absolutely not happy about this NOT ACCEPTABLE!!!
