Beautiful Manor House + Gardens

Liked: If you've never stayed in a Manor house with it's own grounds then you're going to have an amazing time here. My Wife and I had a few nights here and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The gardens were immaculate, the house itself makes for some interesting exploration and is tastefully decorated. Food was delicious and it has a nice sized car park also.
Disliked: Breakfast choice was a tiny bit limited compared to some others but no big issue really.

Luxury hotel and lovely staff

Liked: It was beautifully decorated. The staff were all very helpful. Food was lovely too. Was a little hiccup checking in due to issues with a new computer system but staff handled it brilliantly and upgraded our Room.
Disliked: No complaints.

An extremely relaxing weekend break.

Liked: The hotel was in a beautiful setting. The grounds were so lovely and with the warm weather we could sit outside for drinks. All staff were very courteous and helpful. We stayed in the barn, the room was great with a good sized bathroom with shower. It was so peaceful the only thing you could hear were the birds. The carpark was very close with four electric car charging stations. The spa was very peaceful too. We didn’t have treatments we just used the pool, steam room and sauna. Towels were provided on arrival. The restaurant provided a lovely choice of menu and breakfast was great and plentiful.

Worst Marriott i have ever...

Liked: Location was lovely. The main manager at breakfast very friendly. Barman with red hair excellent, keen to please and courteous and polite.
Disliked: Staff getting orders wrong; forgetting to bring orders; stair carpets filthy; glasses not clean in the bedroom; long hair in bathroom suggesting floor not hoovered before arrival. Food was appalling, table staff said they needed more help even though only 3 tables of circa 15 tables being used. Bedroom floor exceptionally creaky, more than expected for old premises

Lovely grounds

Liked: Beautiful setting, very friendly and professional staff, swimming pool was lovely. Breakfast was delicious.
Disliked: Our room was quite dated with stained carpets. Window latch broken. Rat ran straight past us while we were sitting outside the restaurant and a wasps nest just outside the entrance to the rooms.
