Hotel Description
Biggin Hall Hotel is a 3 star AA rated historic Grade II listed house of 17th Century origin with an AA awarded 1 rosette restaurant. It is set within 8 acres of grounds. The property is located in the heart of the Peak District National Park 1000 feet above sea level in peaceful open countryside. Our rooms are spacious and individually furnished. In addition to the 'Master Suite' - a luxurious four poster bedded room - there are 6 double / twin bedrooms and a two room suite in the main house. We have a total of 13 more rooms available in converted former outbuildings known as our Courtyard and Garden rooms. The rooms all have Freeview TV tea/coffee making facilities a silent fridge & are en-suite. Well behaved dogs are welcome in the courtyard & garden rooms at no additional charge. Our restaurant serves traditional yet modern food & our menu is changed on a daily basis. In the bar there is a choice of real ales guest beers and a highly commended wine list.

Staff went out of their...

Liked: The breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. Beautiful location and gardens. Rooms lovely, and furnished sympathetically to the Hall.
Disliked: Can’t really think of anything.

Not so enjoyable as two...

Liked: The food was excellent.
Disliked: My wife found the bed uncomfortable. Lack of stair rails to the attic was dangerous as we are 82 years of age.. Rooms downstairs were cold.

Perfect location for a weekend...

Liked: We were in a two bedrooms suite and it was perfect for the three of us.The packed lunch was a bonus.

Exceptional

Liked: Lovely hotel in a quiet rural setting. The staff were exceptional and lovely breakfast and dinner. The lunch packs were a nice touch.
