Relaxing with a beautiful view...

Liked: Location was nicely located by the lake.
Disliked: A patio on the lakeside edge with lounge chairs , tables and umbrellas would have made it even nicer.

I will come back again...

Liked: It was clean, cozy and perfect for my family vacation. The village and Big bear lake was walking distance.
Disliked: I like everything.

Disliked: Beds were really uncomfortable. Pool was not available for our stay and we were not notified until we checked in and seen the sign.Not all outlets worked in the two bedroom cabin. Rooms were tight and small. We were asked if we at least enjoyed the lake to change the conversation of the issues addressed.

Liked: We loved that it was so close to the village where all the shopping and restaurants are located. The view was beautiful. Cabin was very clean and spacious for the two of us.
Disliked: The only negative thing I have to say was our bed that was in the cabin was extremely bouncy and soft. We do prefer a more firm mattress. This one was like sleeping on an air mattress for us.

Liked: Only have one complaint. They have a area next to the lake where there's grass in a fire pit. And the sprinklers came on during the day. While we were there. In the late afternoon seems kind of strange to have the sprinklers come on during the day in the middle of summer. When people are using the area. We called to see if we could get them turned off they said no there was no staff there to turn them off. The morning would be a great time to water the grass when no one's around.
Disliked: This is your second time coming there. It was a very nice place.

Great short stay

Liked: Updated cabins were excellent
Disliked: Pool and jacuzzi closed for stay. Work to improve the facilities but would have been good to be informed ahead of arrival.

Deceptive appearance, unsafe conditions, and...

Liked: The room initially looked nice and smelled clean when we walked in, and the location near the lake was convenient, the lake itself was the best part of the trip, though it still wasn’t what we expected.
Disliked: The cleanliness was extremely poor. Our 1 year old’s feet turned completely black after minutes of walking on the floor. There were pubic hairs on the toilet, dog and human hairs in the tub, and hair scattered across the sink counter. Housekeeping did a rushed job and we had to leave the room while they cleaned. The floors were extremely squeaky, the TV glitched constantly due to poor Wi-Fi, the AC stayed stuck at 74°F despite being set to 67°F, and the bathroom exhaust fan didn’t work. The pool was closed until the end of August with no prior notice. We had requested a crib during booking but were told they don’t offer cribs at all. There was also a power outage with no emergency lighting, which is a serious safety concern.

Liked: The room was really clean, and the room itself was nice, but we were going to go outside instead of staying in the room. For the price, the room was decent, but they should have mentioned that there was no pool or proper beach area, and the barbecue area was far away from the apartment. Sorry, but that's the case. Loo
Disliked: My family and I rented an apartment 2 weeks before our arrival. The advertisement stated that there was a swimming pool, access to the first line of the lake, and games. However, we did not see these amenities. The swimming pool was closed, and the first line of the lake was in poor condition. It was impossible to swim there because the bottom had not been cleaned. When we asked if we could swim in the lake since there was no swimming pool, we were told "Yes, of course," but it was impossible to swim there. I have included photos in this review. The barbecue is quite far from the apartment building, and you'll have to cross the street. I'm very disappointed.
