Liked: The location was in a dodgy area, especially with the smoke shop down on the corner that seemed to be a homeless hangout, but the motel was well fenced and we felt perfectly safe. The room was very clean, the beds comfortable and the shower adequate. The aircon was noisy but sounded like rain so it drowned out any road noise and we slept soundly. As two middle aged women safety and cleanliness are important to us and both were covered.
Disliked: I didn't like that you gave your information through a little slot in the window and couldn't enter the office. It wasn't a good introduction to the motel. But the proprietor came out of the office to show me the way to the room, assured me that we would be safe as the gate was monitored 24/7, and was very pleasant. Also it would have been helpful if we had been warned that the alarms were being tested the next morning as that gave us a fright. But these were small things and I would happily stay there again.
