Liked: Great location and cheap.
Disliked: Hotel feels very tired. It was also uncomfortably hot. Our windows would only open by a crack and there was a loud electrical buzz audible throughout the night coming from outside the front of the hotel. It was really noticeable in the quiet of the night. We could also hear floorboards creaking as people above us walked around in the night. A really terrible nights sleep. It was late and no one around or I would have asked to move rooms. A member of staff said goodbye (mid their conversation) as we left, but failed to ask if we’d had a good stay.

Disliked: We had afternoon tea that cost just under £20. But it was poor. Would not buy one again...

Disliked: Particularly unfriendly and unhelpful staff on the phone. When we arrived, there was no real greeting or welcome and just very functional service. Customer service was pretty poor by the reception staff. Other staff we met in the hotel in passing at least said hello.
