Best Western Village Park Inn

I visited this hotel with a friend. It was clean and comfortable. We ordered food from the restaurant which was excellent and were provided with a great breakfast the next morning. Excellent value all around and I would definitely stay again.

Overall a good hotel for...

Liked: Our room was facing the hot tub and pool! No explanation needed.
Disliked: Trying to load/unload luggage was a bit of a pain in the butt, easy for the iron gate by the dog pad to lock behind you when you’re parked directly/conveniently below your suite. Possibly install a clearance pad similar to room’s? Also most of the food was great, the potatoes were a bit of a dry chew though.

Liked: It was clean quiet and comfortable. Staff were helpful and friendly.
Disliked: The coffee in the room and the breakfast weren’t great. Not sure what the meat was. Maybe a cheap version of ham.

Good times in Calgary

Liked: The room placement, we got a room away from all the traffic of other people.
Disliked: The breakfast area was packed. We stopped in when there was a severe thunderstorm so it was full. The staff did make great effort to accommodate but there were too many people in the breakfast area.
