Best Western Valley Hotel

Passable

Liked: Staff helpful, very clean. Nice breakfast in tbe garden. We also ordeted sandwiches on checkin. They were lovely and fresh and good value for money.
Disliked: Room very small, bed old spring mattress not very comfortable. Taps on wash basin loose. Budget accommodation. Stayed in better for less.

Liked: Loverly place to stay, within walking distance of all the places I wanted to visit. Staff were nice and the restaurant was very good.

Disliked: Not enough plug sockets/sockets not in convenient places in the room.

Upgrade mattresses to more suitable...

Liked: Good Breakfast, Evening meal was excellent and the staff were exceptional. The hotel was well run and clean through out.
Disliked: Bed, pillows.... not very good at all. Seemed very old, worn and uncomfortable for a nights sleep. Beds mattresses need upgrading. They are not very comfortable and The pillows are old and lumpy and let it all down.

Liked: Great overall experience! Evening meal and breakfast were delicious. All staff we encountered were very friendly and accommodating. They went above and beyond to make us feel special as we were returning for our 1st wedding anniversary after getting married there. Very comfortable room. Warm due to the weather but the fan in the room definitely helped.
Disliked: Nothing

Godd location. Nice accommodation and...

Liked: An excellent location for visiting the Iron Bridge and gorge atractions.Room OK but a bit smaller than some. Got very warm as no air conditioning.Good buffet breakfast but normal problem of food not always very hot.Within walking distance of the Iron Bridge and various eating places.Nice grounds and adjoins onto a nice public park going down to the river.Ample free parking.
Disliked: Small room for a twin.Stuffy and no air conditioning.

good hotel, fab staff ....

Liked: The staff are the highlight of this hotel, everybody went out of their way to be polite, helpful and friendly . . Location is good. Rooms are basic but okay. Food is good.
Disliked: The two items that let it down are: the walls are paper thin, you can hear everything from the landing and the adjoining room and the electric shower wasn't much more than a dribble.
