With only a couple of...

Liked: Lovely location. Great grounds. Good restaurant. Adequate room size. All areas including bedroom very clean.
Disliked: Bedroom a bit tired. Pillows too low and inadequate. Bathroom needs upgrade.

Pleasant and restful if a...

Liked: The Hotel has a nice location with ample parking. Staff were consistently polite, friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were good and choice plentiful. The suit was large and the bed comfortable.
Disliked: The bedroom decor was a little tired - especially the curtains which used inadequate rails, sagged and had torn linings. The bathroom radiator did not work for two days so we had to get clean towels each day as the previous allocation remained wet. The bathroom was also chilly to use. The radiator in the bedroom did not supply heat and the backup electric heater struggled to warm the room. An additional small portable heater was provided but again struggled. Luckily the weather improved after the second day and this was less of an issue. Dinner at the hotel was adequate but we were expecting rather more from the reviews. Surprised that cocktails were not an option at the bar.
