Best Western Valley Hotel

Very good

Liked: The position in Ironbridge and the ease of walking across the park into the centre.
Disliked: The bed in room 16 needs a new mattress or a thick mattress topper. It was just to hard and took us three nights to get used to it.

Lovely area and hotel only...

Liked: Breakfast was very good and so were staff.
Disliked: Room 46 was extremely hot and stuffy. The main problem was the bathroom fan didn't work so it was like a sauna! We switched off the bathroom radiator but made little difference.Maintenance did come to look at it on the second day but told the receptionist he couldn't do anything as had to get in the loft.Unable to open the window much as had a stay cable preventing this.

Ironbridge Overnighter

Liked: We literally only stopped overnight as an alternative to poorer hotels in Shifnal, where we were visiting family and friends, and because of this we didn't have breakfast. The room itself and the location were superb and it is only a 15 minute walk into Ironbridge so it is ideal for this too.
Disliked: We weren't really there long enough to find fault, although the shower was not the most powerful it did do the job.

Liked: Its location was perfect for Ironbridge, the staff were great and the food was excellent.
Disliked: Nothing

Liked: Loved how easy to Walk into iron bridge.
Disliked: Room was small and stuffy as the window doesn't open very far and it was hot

Liked: Breakfast & evening meals were very good, until the weekend when there were two weddings on site.
Disliked: nothing major - we were treated a little substandard when the weddings were present.
