Best Western University Inn

My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel two days ago for a concert and we were thoroughly impressed. The hotel was easy to find, clean, comfortable and the room had a refrigerator and microwave! Bed was comfortable; pets were allowed. Hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. Pool and hot tub were clean and nice. Location was great, within walking distance to Aggie Theatre. Price was great and we would definitely stay at this hotel again. Would definitely recommend this hotel. :)

Liked: Everything else!
Disliked: Room temperature harder to regulate than most hotels. Alarm clock broken.

Good for business visits at...

Liked: Basic but convenient location for business visits at CSU, Fort Collins. Front desk staff were nice, efficient and helpful.
Disliked: Room cleaning timing has no pattern and can get missed. Prioritization of making checked-out rooms for next occupants. Seems due to limited staff.

Liked: Excellent location for exploring Ft Collins and the campus (my son may be attending as a freshman in the fall, and we needed to do a quick visit from out of state), nice staff, comfortable rooms
Disliked: It’s a straightforward motel - can be a little noisy if people have their doors open, but it didn’t bother us especially

Unprofessional Billing and Deposit Issues

Disliked: I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. They charged my $100 deposit while I was still staying there, and they did not refund it. Furthermore, the amount for the accommodation was not reduced by the deposit, as it should have been. Instead, the full amount for the stay was charged after I checked out. This lack of transparency and fairness regarding billing is unacceptable. I would not recommend this hotel based on my experience.

Overall a good stay

Liked: Convenient location to the campus
Disliked: It was very easy to hear everything that was happening in the hallway. The air conditioning only went down to 68 degrees which is fine most of the time and for people who think that’s cold when they sleep but even with the window open at night it was too hot to sleep comfortably for us.

Eh. It should be 2...

Disliked: The rooms were in not-great condition. Location, while convenient, was very noisy--car and train noises. Air conditioning unit was noisy. Beds hard. Bedding thin.Powdered eggs were unappealing.
