The entire hotel was very hot. My room never cooled off and smelled like an old dog. Made for a tough weekend.

Liked: Bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly. Pets allowed.
Disliked: Floors, walls, bathroom were dirty. Visible dirt on surfaces. Mold in shower. Lamp shades coming apart, poor upkeep. TV stuck on mode for blind people and could not turn it off. Breakfast was ok, it was cold though. Facility “allows dogs” but says you can’t leave them unattended. No signs posted that dog were not allowed in area but would not allow dogs in breakfast area and made us leave. Frustrating.

Liked: This is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. While the front desk staff was nice, the rest of the hotel was terrible. Our sheets were stained, and we received only two towels, which were also stained. The pillows were so old and worn out that you could see the yellowing through the pillowcases, and they were completely flat. The worst part was the bathroom; the ceiling was covered in black mold, and the shower curtain was also moldy. I would like to request a refund for this terrible experience.

Friendly staff and very clean

Liked: I loved the staff and the cleanliness of the hotel. The location was great also but the bed wasn't comfortable at all! I had springs in my back all night. The coffee wasn't good either. The breakfast was okay but not great! Red sausage both mornings with no bacon or grits. No eggs one morning it was just okay.

Very accommodating and clean

Liked: The staff are wonderful and very helpful. The room was very clean and the location was also great! The mattress on the bed was 5 years past needing replaced. I slept on a spring that was popping up for two nights. They have a bed cover that's thick and it didn't do the job. The breakfast is mediocre at best.

Great value and courteous staff!

Liked: This is the best value in Traveler's Rest! The room was comfortable and the staff is always courteous and helpful. We have stayed here twice and would stay again in the future. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean. Check in and check out is always quick!
Disliked: The shower in our room this time (we've stayed previously) had low water pressure and some issues with the water getting hot, but it did get there eventually. There was also some mildew in the shower but I could smell the cleaner that indicated it was being treated, so it wasn't a deal breaker for us. Thing happen!
