Best Western Travelers Rest/Greenville

The entire hotel was very hot. My room never cooled off and smelled like an old dog. Made for a tough weekend.

Disliked: The hotel was under renovation. That was not disclosed on the website. The pool was closed. The shower was tiny. The room was dirty. They tried to charge my card before I arrived at the hotel. The price wasn't high for the area but it was way overpriced for the quality of the stay. I was not happy!

Liked: Good location. Breakfast was good. Clean
Disliked: No soap, shampoo, conditioner in the shower although there were dispensers for them. The shower head was hard to operate. Price charged wasn’t the price quoted on website.

Liked: The breakfast was good.
Disliked: The price was too high. Unable to use the facilities and this should have resulted in a discount honestly. This is not a 4 star hotel and prices are too high.

We left at 11:30 pm....

Liked: It was a solid room for the 60 minutes we were there, until the smell of marijuana began to emerge from the HVAC or hallway.
Disliked: Aforementioned smell, and unresponsive manager, who doesn’t seem to value guests. After logging a complaint Tuesday, July 29, I have yet to hear back from them.

Great location in Travelers rest

Liked: This location was perfect for where I wanted to be.
Disliked: The breakfast needs work. The eggs and sausage were tough as if it was over cooked or heated. The smoke sausage was good the first morning. And the pool looked as if it needed to be serviced. The pool was so cloudy that I didn't even want to swim in it. There was also only one pool towel available on the towel rack. This hotel seems like they have people who live there. A couple of days when going to the parking lot I saw some men smoking and having a beer, as well as one cutting another ones hair.

The place smells like mold...

Liked: One of only three hotels in the area.
Disliked: People were loitering in the parking lot drunk and doing drugs, front desk would not call the police after multiple guests complained. Carpet smelled like mold, the rooms were in bad shape and smelled like weed. Management lied about their room availability when my family decided to leave so they could deny a refund.
