Liked: I was upgraded to a very nice room (owing to an issue with my previous stay) which was really well equipped, clean and very comfortable.
Disliked: I was staying for 2 nights and would have expected my room to have been 'made up' after the 1st. night but it wasn't.

Liked: I used this hotel to break up a journey..so the location was good just off the M25Staff were friendly enoughThe breakfast was a bit regimental..but the fayre was good for the priceThankfully they have added a parking barrier at the front!!
Disliked: The hotel seemed clean enough..but a couple of hours after I had left I noticed I had a few insect bites on my face & arms,which I can only put down to bugs in the roomI know it's an old building, but the creaky floorboards were really bad,& as I am a light sleeper I was woken a few times with the noiseParts of the hotel had a very unpleasant smellWhen I checked out the receptionist failed to tell me the code for the exit barrier so I had to go back to reception to get it

Disliked: The main reason for un pleasant stay was that there was no LIIFT. You CANNOT EXPECT customer to use stairs for 2 floors especially if a person has disability. I am not sure how this hotel pass the criteria for disable person friendly. Even a fit person will find it difficult climbing up and down 2 floors. Totally unacceptable
