Wonderful stay in a hidden...

Liked: The location was amazing just 3 miles to cheddar gorge..it was in a beautiful village nestled away..the staff were all wonderful, so friendly and helpful. The room and bed and view was great in the executive room. The space in there was fantastic. Sitting outside on the veranda in the evening sun with lovely views..the breakfast was gorgeous and plentiful, even the relaxing music that was playing.

Decent old hotel with charm

Liked: Night porter (I arrived 23:15 in the evening) welcomed me nicely to the hotel. Room was okay in size but bed has old matress with spring which is not so comfortable. Shower was good but bit annoying in terms of layout with an opening door and not moveable small shower rain head. Didn't use the breakfast which would have been 12,5 pounds.
Disliked: Matress is old type with springs so not really comfortable...Hotel is old so carpets everywhere and there are a lot of levels with small steps so when you are less mobile contact them to get ground floor room.
