Highly recommended. Will definitely return.

Liked: Room 30: wonderful, spacious, extremely well equipped. Loved it.Food was lovely as was the restaurant environment.The hotel itself was beautiful with lovely seating areas both inside and out. Would definitely recommend and be returning!
Disliked: Nothing, all was great.

Really enjoyed the town of...

Liked: Very friendly staff, nice big room with comfortable bed.
Disliked: The fan being wire was very noisy. Hot in the night so had to get up and down to turn fan on and off because of the noise it made.

A lovely hotel with friendly...

Very disappointing. Definitely not value...

Liked: It looked full of character from the road side. The garden was nice and the view was pretty
Disliked: We weren’t in the main building but in a block at the rear of the main building ( room 22 ) The state of our room was dreadful ! Peeling paint. Cobwebs. Stained walls and signs of water damage around the ceiling light. Split peeling paper on the ceiling. Mould around the bath at floor level and tile level. Broken floor tile in bathroom. Chipped and damaged furniture. Curtain rail hanging off. Unfinished plaster. Temperamental shower. Dirty tissues/wet wipes on the window sill !!! It was really in a very poor state. We spoke three times to the front-of-house staff who promised to contact the managers ….. but we heard nothing. So I wrote 2 emails to them after check out listing my concerns over the room condition but although I know they received the emails, no one has contacted me from the hotel. What a shame. A chance maybe to recover the situation ? Would I stay there again ….? Absolutely not. You can pay a similar amount and go to the nearby Travelodge. Lacking a little in character maybe but clean functional rooms.
