Fairly good all round
Liked: Good location, not far from the town and with in walking distance from the hotel.
Disliked: We didn’t book breakfast as it was room only. On the Sunday we decided to go for a breakfast and found that it was expensive. For 3 bowls of cereal a couple slices of toast and 3 teas was £30.00. Shocking

Very good
Liked: Staff were excellent.
Disliked: No Air Conditioning (but provided fans); however, as the hotel is a wedding venue to keep the noise down (from function room) we had to close the window so got a tad warm. In the hotels defence they did warn us that there was a wedding on prior to arrival. Not particularly convenient for the town centre.

Very good.
Liked: Staff were very friendly. Facilities were good as was the pool.
Disliked: Maintenance man/Gardener shouted at us to keep our dog on a lead. There is no signage as such and no bin to put any dog bags into. We carried our out with us till we found a bin. He needs etiquette training.

Enjoyable pleasant stay in easy...
Liked: breakfast was excellent
Disliked: Shower over bath caused access difficulty because of slight hip disability but i could have probably requested that at booking time if i had thought of it.

Pleasant
Liked: Quiet room. Tv. Good power shower. Very helpful and friendly staff who could not have been nicer.
Disliked: Bit tatty decor and furnishings. Not overly clean.

Poor
Liked: Friendly staff and a well-tended lawn/ garden at the back- useful for walking the dog. The bathroom had been refurbished and was reasonable although the window looked directly onto the main carpark with no privacy blind.
Disliked: We paid £200 with breakfast for one night as there was nowhere else available in the area. For that sort of money you have certain expectations, which the hotel failed to meet. The whole place needs a lot of TLC and a review of their prices. We had a dog-friendly twin room in the old wing of the hotel. The mismatched decor looked like it all came from the Wilko's closing down sale, the carpet was dirty and the wall paper was peeling off the walls and the ceiling. The frilly thing above the curtain rail was missing leaving an unpainted wooden box.
