Amazing 1 night stay for...

Liked: The building is stunning and full of character. The welcome from the staff was genuine and warm. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is quiet and a good location slightly out but thats what we wanted. The hotel had everything we needed.
Disliked: Nothing

Great value-for-money stay

Liked: Stayed here to attend a concert in Castle Park, which was around a 15min walk away. Thought the hotel was lovely - packed full of history and with spacious rooms and good facilities, including free parking. The bed was comfy, the shower was hot and powerful and the WiFi was good. The tea, coffee and biscuits in the room were very welcome too
Disliked: Nothing!

Pleasant stay

Liked: Room was good, bathroom was good (except for the bath plug did not hold the water, but the shower was ok)Staff were very pleasant and the location was very convenient for our purposes.
Disliked: Bath plug did not hold the water. Also, simply due to the hot weather, it was quite uncomfortable at night but that really wasn't the hotel's fault!

Disliked: Unfortunately no restaurant for evening meals

Pleasent but wouldn’t return.

Liked: Loverly old fashioned building. But let down with no restaurant only breakfast. We were only told by email after we had booked.
