Very disappointing.

Liked: Location and staff
Disliked: Very poorly maintained, verging on decrepit. Shower was a nightmare, room was pokey and antiquated. The whole place is desperately in need of refurbishment. On the whole a very poorly presented place,

Liked: close to where i working
Disliked: shower didnt run that well

Unsatisfied

Liked: The location is perfect.
Disliked: The room was noisy from both sides, doorway and window. Very uncomfortable bed, it needs to be replaced.

Disappointing

Liked: It was a nice room. The staff were very pleasant when we spoke to them but only one person in the hotel at any time trying to do the bar and reception.
Disliked: The shower failed to work properly at all even after we asked for it to be looked at 2days in a row. No cleaning done unless requested and even then the floors weren't touched and the cups were not washed properly. The toilet wasn't cleaned properly and a lot of dust around that had been there a long time. No restocking of milk etc. Had to ask for an anti slip mat and my husband slipped over in the bath. One window didn't open and the other didn't close properly when needed. We appreciate it is an old building but there really needs to be some work done in the old part of the building to the floors. There was no restaurant even though it claimed to have one, poorly stocked bar. Clearly needs a makeover in areas. Not sure it qualified as 3 stars

Disliked: The room was too hot but it was the hottest day of the year

Disliked: Dirty room, uncomfortable bed, cracked window, unable to shower due to water unable to be moderated., room too hot. No staff available at check out time

Liked: Breakfast excellent, staff so helpful, room ENTIRELY to my requirements
Disliked: Parking could be a little awkward but all said a town center Location.
