Liked: Nice, clean room, very friendly staff, great Scottish breakfast. Great hub to drive around with free parking. Less than 0.5 h to both Edinburgh and Glasgow
Disliked: WiFi in the room was very slow

Overall an enjoyable stay.

Liked: Comfortable. Modern and easy to navigate.
Disliked: Lack of air conditioning- rooms could get a little stuffy during the night. Beds were a little short, though comfortable. Not ideal for a taller person.

Staff really make this hotel

Liked: The staff are the highlight of the whole experience for me, exceptionally lovely people who go above and beyond. The event halls, garden, reception, and restaurant are absolutely lovely as well such a well kept hotel
Disliked: The room we had was quite underwhelming for the price, no curtains so looked bare, very small, the bed was quite lumpy & the pillows solid as a rock, there's a huge gap under the door so all the hallway light seeps into the room at night, and the extraction fan in the bathroom didn't seem to do much so by the time you get out the shower you're short on air
