Best Western The George Hotel Swaffham

Disappointing!

Liked: The location was perfect!
Disliked: The rooms were very, very old and dated! I was seamed just after 5 am by the laundry delivery man!A bottle of wine would be charged at £26 - this I would pay in a top class hotel not a BW in Swaffham!Very disappointing!

Disliked: The bed was very uncomfortable, the shower was terrible no pressure at all It was very noisy from in the hotel and from outside

Traditional Hotel with Personality.

Liked: Lovely, traditional hotel. We were fortunate to stay in the old part. Rooms were comfortable. Breakfast was tasty, good quality and well cooked. Also good range. Bar food was excellent! Bar prices were reasonable and guests were served until quite late.
Disliked: Room was stuffy, but did have a fan. We opened the windows even though overlooking a junction. Not too much disturbance though.

Disappointing and expensive

Liked: The staff were very friendly and professional and the location was good
Disliked: The mattress was like laying on a wooden pallet. The drain looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. And there was faeces stains on the toilet seat where it obviously had been there for so long. Also a coat hook on the outside of the door for some reason.
