Disliked: Room a bit dated,bed a little to firm for my licking.

Liked: Central location but quiet and relaxed, creaky floorboard but clean and well presented. Good free parking, Nice selection of bar food - sensible price and tasty. Happy staff
Disliked: We always believe it could be cheaper

Liked: Handy for seeing family
Disliked: The underhand way breakfast price was elevated . We paid 9.95 for one continental breakfast .£13.95 for a full English breakfast . 3 days on trot . Thursday we went to pay and it had been elevated to 11.95 for continental 15 .95 for full english breakfast. We were not told I think it was disgustingly and highly priced . In future if we stay we will go into the town where it was £9.95 for a full English. We chose not to eat one on the Friday morning too expensive.

Liked: It was very dated and overly hot. The food wasn’t great and the breakfast options were very over priced

Perfectly fine for what I...

Liked: Exceptionally friendly staff, very helpful too. Booking breakfast before is a good idea (slightly cheaper). Decent enough.
Disliked: The room was incredibly warm. The radiators were on high during the day and still on (but lower) in the evening. It made it very difficult to stay asleep.

The perfect stopover.

Liked: Perfectly located for my destination close by. Staff all friendly and thoughtful. Excellent evening meal and breakfast. Will stay here again.
