Liked: Great location - close to the beautiful coastline between Dartmouth and SalcombeGood food. Good value. Nice room
Disliked: There was nothing I didn't like. Even though I'm not a golfer (and this is ostensibly a golfing hotel) I've stayed before and really enjoyed myself

Very good, we were fortunate...
Liked: Room, adequate size, clean and well prepared, bed comfortable, tea making okay but had to scrounge fresh milk. Evening meal good, nicely prepared and presented without being fussyBreakfast very good with wide choice more than adequate amount, all freshly prepared Reception straight forward with polite interesting chat and clear information
Disliked: Pillow choice could have been better, Television was a bit wee by todays standards, not that we did much watching.

Disliked: Everything is so old. The room was so noisy I couldn’t sleep at all. I could hear everyone passing down the hall, every door opened. It was disappointing especially because it was quite expensive

Liked: Welcome from Tracey the receptionist was exceptional. Very helpful and genuinely friendly when we requested directions, taxis etc. Lovely location. The two dinners we had were good and the waitress though very busy was polite and friendly as well as efficient. Bed was comfortable. Swimming pool good.
Disliked: Long wait for food service not enough staff on the second night of our stay. They were stretched and seemed stressed. No one to check us in the restaurant at the allotted time. Had to look for staff member after 10 minutes. Windowsill in bar covered in in dead flies plus dried out piece of lemon garnish on the floor beside seat. A bit off putting so decided not to have breakfast as we’d planned on the last morning of our stay as didn’t trust the standard of cleanliness. Young barman unfamiliar with serving drinks on at busy time. One man on patio in group of three on Thursday afternoon 19th around 3.30 Swore continuously during his conversation with two other men in a very loud voice. His companions appeared uncomfortable they did not swear. Perhaps a mention at a golf club meeting regarding the use of foul language when other guests are around might be in order? There were no children around luckily. We are not prudes regarding swearing but it was off putting whilst having a drink in those surroundings on a lovely afternoon.
