Disliked: unfortunately had a very unpleasant experience. The room I was given was located underground and had a strong chemical/moldy smell. Despite opening the small window and turning on the air-conditioning, the odor remained intense and triggered my asthma. I requested a room change but was told no other rooms were available.Additionally, the ceiling in the shower was so low that I could not stand upright to shower comfortably. The Wi-Fi connection was also extremely weak, making it difficult to receive messages or do any work.

Liked: Easy access to underground tube station and buses to central London
Disliked: Room was quite small to be called a superior room. Air con was not working well and room was hot. Bathroom sink extremely small so much so the floor was wet when you washed your face. No counter to place toiletries …

Lovely stay, outstanding staff

Liked: The location was great and the staff were outstanding - they were so friendly, welcoming and nothing was too much trouble
Disliked: The neighbourhood clearly has some challenges but nothing too bad and clearly hoteliers in the area keep their frontages clean and tidy

Could have been more pleasant

Liked: The hotel itself is lovely and the decor is bright and modern and comfortable. The breakfast option was outstanding and the breakfast staff so friendly and accommodating. The bed is very comfortable. The location was great with the Earl's Court Underground station a short walk away, several grocery stores and our favorite Blackbird Pug which was awesome.
Disliked: Our Executive Double Room was very small and had an angled ceiling where I nearly knocked myself out getting out of bed. The bathroom does not have shelving or an outlet so storing toiletries or drying your hair is a bit of an acrobatic experience. You will need a long cord. The shower is small. The worst problem was that the AC was out or at best intermittent in our room for the majority of the stay. Despite multiple requests to move our room to one that had AC we were on our 4th night at the hotel before we were moved to a little larger room and one with AC. A few of the desk staff were accommodating, and a few were dismissive and not too helpful.Also, the cleaning staff did not give us a clean towel after 2-3 days after we even put them on the floor, they just put them back on the hooks on the bathroom. I believe in being eco friendly, but how do you put a dirty towel that was on the floor back on the hook for reuse?

Liked: Comfortable bed, great A/C, good location near the tube station.
Disliked: It would probably be the very narrow bathroom sink which wouldn’t be such an issue without the vanity shelf placed above it. This which makes access even more challenging.
