Best Western St. Catharines Hotel & Conference Centre

Good weekend - we walked to Montebello Park. It's a good walk, but weather was great, so good exercise.

Liked: Nice; clean; good location.
Disliked: For the price I think breakfast should be included.

Exactly what we needed for...

Liked: Easy highway access. Close to downtown St. Catharines. Breakfast included. Indoor and outdoor pools. Spacious room with desk, microwave and fridge.
Disliked: Some decor looked tired. But renovations underway / in progress.

Very good

Liked: I always stay here when visiting family.
Disliked: The breakfast wasn't as good as it was on prior stays.

Be aware of the renovation...

Liked: Facilities at the hotel, including the pool tables, games, room, pool, hot tub, and sauna were loved by the family
Disliked: Going through a fairly major renovation right now, which made getting in and out of the hotel a little more difficult than it needed to be

Good stay

Liked: Close to a lot of amenities, breakfast was typical, very nice pool area

Liked: Breakfast was ok.
Disliked: The hotel seems dingy. There is no colour to liven up your feelings as the wall colour and all artwork are so neutral. Staff are excellent.
