Comfortable and convenient, but also...

Liked: We have stayed before and found the hotel to be perfect for visiting nearby family. The staff are very welcoming and the rooms are very comfortable.
Disliked: The only downside to our stay occurred on Saturday evening when we returned to the hotel. We purchased a drink at the bar around 10:20 pm, but when I went back for another just after 10:30 pm, I was disappointed to be told the bar was closed.I explained that I was a resident, but the staff member informed me they were unable to serve any more drinks. I’ve never stayed at a hotel where the bar closes so early—especially with a wedding reception in full swing at the time. Presumably, the wedding party had access to a separate bar.I don’t blame the bar staff, as they were simply following instructions. However, this situation reflects poor staff training and a lack of clear communication with residents.

Disliked: room was a bit dated, shower curtain over the bath is so 1980's - bathroom easily large enough for a proper shower enclosure and bath separately, or better a larger shower and no bath.
