Best Western Savannah Historic District

Based on my hotel experiences the room was average based on the cost. Upon check in we did not have hand towels. The housekeeper promised to bring hand towels. When we returned to the room the hand towels were not provided as promised. I had to go to the front desk at 11 pm to get hand towels.

Liked: The room was available and cleaned one hour early.
Disliked: We did not receive hand towels at check in.

Sorry and nasty place to...

Liked: The first room we were given. It was full of bugs. And it wasn't clean. We called and complained. They said they could give us another room. When we got to the office. The door was locked. The woman was sleeping. We couldn't wake her up. When we got the other room. It wasn't clean. It was nasty. I went to use the ironing board. It was caked with dirt. Looked like it had never been cleaned for years. There was food wrappers behind the tables and chairs. We ask for towels we only got 2. The lady at the desk told us the cleaning lady would bring them. I don't think she wanted to get off her butt.i ask for toliet paper. She said she didn't have any.then looked in the drawer behind the desk. She just didn't want to get up. The cleaning lady could not speak English. The when we left we were charged for parking. We park where the motel next to us parked. I will never return

Liked: The savior for this hotel was that it was dog friendly.
Disliked: I could not wait to leave. Carpet was dirty and very dark, I was leary about my dog lying on the floor, there were many big tears in the chair, we did not want to even sit on it. Needs major updating.
