Best Western Royal Sun Inn & Suites

Good place.

Liked: Clean room; big shower; nice workers.
Disliked: None.

I truly enjoyed my time at this hotel. The staff was friendly; the room was clean and cool with tons of creature comforts like a DVD player and ironing board. The restaurant on site was amazing and the menu had a lot to choose from. I would definitely stay here again.

Liked: The staff was friendly and helpful! Tyrone was knowledgeable about the area and suggested a few spots to visit during our stay.The property was not as pleasant; surrounded by homeless persons and we had issues with the plumbing. The toilet wouldn’t completely flush and the tub did not drain. We noticed a couple of roaches in the bathroom. After the 2nd night we switched rooms and were given a small compensation refund for the inconvenience.

Liked: A couple young women on staff were kind and helpful. One got the TV working - until I turned it off again to go out, and that was the last time it worked.
Disliked: The A/C was noisy and running 24/7 still didn't really cool the room; bathroom electric plug didn't work; TV worked my first afternoon but not again; floors were very dirty (when I got in the shower brown dirty water streamed off my feet after going barefoot in the room about half an hour); room was incredibly dark; only overhead light is on a motion detector/timer so if I sat quietly to read, the room would go dark; no screen on the bathroom window but that was the only way to get fresh air so I had to open it.

Good stay for the Tucson...

Liked: breakfast was good, the restaurant next door the people were friendly and food was good.
Disliked: Matress was old. I felt more springs then comfort and didn't get any sleep. The thermostat was not easy to adjust. You have to press the buttons like a nitendo switch to get it to actually work. Staff during the week [at check in] were nice but weekend, rude. Coffee in room was horrible. The room needs a massive upgrade (no tub)...the floors were new though. They need an information folder (restaurants, things to do nearby, etc). No vending machines, no elevator.

Comfortable stay in Tucson

Liked: Spacious apartment, within clean hotel complex.Good bus connection to the university and downtown (buses are free in Tucson).Friendly staff.
Disliked: Breakfast is a bit basic.
