Liked: Clean room; big shower; nice workers.

I truly enjoyed my time at this hotel. The staff was friendly; the room was clean and cool with tons of creature comforts like a DVD player and ironing board. The restaurant on site was amazing and the menu had a lot to choose from. I would definitely stay here again.
Disliked: The sink didn't drain.

Disliked: Shower leaked so constant drip, keys would not work everyday so we had to go to the office to get new ones. Loud train near by

Liked: The staff were really helpful and friendly, and the location was perfect for what we needed to do! Can't fault it for what we needed the stay for.
Disliked: We had to ask to move rooms when we first got there - the room next door had a loud barking dog and it didn't feel very homely. The second room we had was much better and more private.

Liked: It was clean and fairly comfortable, except for the train noise (see 'didn't likes'). It was farther from Historic 4th Street and Downtown than it looked on the map. There weren't any bars/restaurants in walking distance. Water pressure and shower were good. The rooms are all on the walk-way so you have to keep curtains closed for privacy, so it was very dark. The exterior landscaping was nice but the interior needed an upgrade. It was okay and a place to sleep, that's it.
Disliked: It was way too close to the train tracks. The trains honk their horns All Night Long, even at midnight. The hotel really needs to invest in sound-proofing. Further, I understand the trains only honk their horns at intersections without railway crossing bars. The hotel should petition the city to use their funds to add crossing bars, not only for tourists but also locals. People shouldn't just have to get used to that noise. Also, the free breakfast was below average,...just get the cold cereal or a bagel. The ambiance in the bar at the '2 for 1' drinks every night was Horrendous, I'd rather pay for two drinks elsewhere than return there ever again.
