It might have been cleaned vigorously, but you couldn't tell. It seemed dirty. It maybe wasn't but it looked like it. The pool looked gross and the jacuzzi was dirty - I saw dirt in it. The stay was expensive. The carpeting is probably ancient. The bedspread had some kind of fabric on top that looked and felt like brown burlap. Not soft, scratchy. Ugly, like the carpet. If I go to another conference in that area I will stay somewhere else, even if it's further away. Never going back. Way too pricey for a run down hotel room.

Disliked: The place was dank (smells bad); dark; like staying in an old building.

Liked: Very pleasant stay. Helpful and cheerful staff. Very good location.

Pleasant stay overall!

Liked: Good breakfast, very friendly staff an clean rooms and property. For LA and the area still pricey but ok I guess. The rooms are spacious and clean. Modernized bathrooms and accesories do not really leave room for improvement.
Disliked: Based on the location a bit pricey. Parking with large vehicles is challenging as the parking lot is in a quite narrow backalley.

Liked: Friendly staff, nice breakfast, large room, near UCLA, many good things around the hotel: supermarket and places.I had problems with my check-in and the reception was very patient and kind.
Disliked: At some hours, specially around noon, the neighbourhood can get a bit sketchy, but this is no way the hotel's fault. You can still walk around if you're careful, but a vehicle could make things easier.

Liked: Spacious rooms bed very comfortable
Disliked: The bathroom the sink was in the way, had to squeeze to get into the shower in one end and the toilet in the other in. Had to leave the roor open to wash hands and brush my teeth.

Disliked: The room was great but I could hear the conversation of the people next door.
