Best Western Royal Hotel

Relaxing and well looked after.

Liked: Breakfast is very good with plenty of choice. The staff are very professional and can't do enough to help you. Plenty of parking. Lovely clean rooms. The shower head wouldn't tilt on the shower and we had to hold it to shower. We explained this to reception and when we got back in the evening the shower head and adjuster had been changed which was great. Although there isn't a swimming pool at this hotel you can use the facilities at the hotel just a short walk up the road. We didn't but it is useful to know this is available. We stayed in a family suite of 2 single beds and a double bed and there was ample room for us all. All in all very comfortable stay and walking distance to town centre and shops.
Disliked: The showers aren't the most powerful and we couldn't tilt the shower head.

Exceeded expectations and was excellent...

Liked: The staff were friendly and welcoming. I was upgraded and had a lovely room. Everything was clean and comfortable. Central location.
Disliked: The bathroom was dated but clean and functional.

Disliked: Room could of been a bit warmer.
