The Spotlight on Best Western Premier Toronto Airport Carlingview Hotel

Comfort Meets Convenience Near Toronto's Top Venues

Modern and welcoming, the Best Western Premier Toronto Airport Carlingview Hotel blends boutique-style comfort with practical amenities. Just a short drive from downtown Toronto and only 2.5 miles from Pearson International Airport, it's a smart choice for concert-goers flying in for a show or looking for a quieter retreat after a high-energy night out. With complimentary WiFi, a 24-hour fitness center, and sleek rooms featuring hardwood floors and flat-screen TVs, this hotel provides a polished yet relaxed setting.

Why Concert-goers love it

Thanks to its proximity to major highways and the airport, getting to and from Toronto’s biggest venues is a breeze, whether you're catching a show at Scotiabank Arena or a festival at Downsview Park. The hotel offers a free airport shuttle (running from 4 am to 2 am), making late-night arrivals or early departures easy. Because it sits outside the downtown core, it’s also quieter at night—perfect for those who want to wind down post-concert in peace. The 3 pm check-in and 11 am check-out offer reasonable flexibility for travelers on the go.

Who this Hotel is great for

  • Groups of friends needing a chill base before and after the show
  • Solo travelers flying in to see their favorite artist
  • Couples making a weekend of it, with nearby attractions
  • Fans who prefer a calmer, noise-free recovery space after the encore
  • Budget-conscious music lovers who don’t mind being a short ride from downtown

Food and Drink Options

Flight Path Restaurant, the hotel’s on-site eatery, serves breakfast and dinner daily—great for grabbing a bite before heading out or recovering the next morning. While there’s no 24/7 room service, rooms come with mini-fridges and coffee makers for midnight snacks and caffeine boosts. A short drive or quick ride shares access to a variety of walkable dining spots around the airport district.

Nightlife Options

This hotel leans more toward the relaxed side of nightlife, with no on-site bar or live music venue. However, its location makes it an ideal launch pad to explore Toronto’s buzzing nightlife downtown or catch a few drinks at nearby lounges closer to the airport. After the show, come back to the hot tub and sauna to unwind.

What People Say

Guests often praise the hotel’s cleanliness, friendly staff, and convenient location. Many appreciate the airport shuttle and the comfort of the rooms, especially the hardwood floors and modern decor. Travelers also note how quiet the hotel is, a welcome contrast to the city after a loud night out.

Areas for Improvement

While the hotel scores points for comfort, some guests mention that being outside of downtown means relying on a car or Uber for concerts and nightlife. And while the restaurant is decent, more late-night dining options nearby would be a bonus.

The Bottom Line

If you're looking for a clean, quiet, and convenient hotel with easy airport access and a short trip to Toronto’s top music venues, the Best Western Premier Toronto Airport Carlingview Hotel is a solid choice.

Nice Hotel but Needs Updating

Liked: The room was large and the breakfast was good. I wish it was a buffet and not served.
Disliked: The room needs updating as well as the property. The service for breakfast was very slow. All hotels offer a shuttle. BW Premier does but you have to call them and it takes some time. With an airport like Pearson through their bookings they should automatically be going to the airport. Also I wish they had water stations on the floors.

Hotel is ok but you...

Liked: Rooms were pretty clean, no smell. Easy check in/check out, good rollaway couch able to fit another 2 person
Disliked: Parking for an extra fee ($16 cad), underground parking only (my ford transit 250 med roof didn’t fit), breakfast for an extra fee, which is disappointing if you pay $200+ during a weekdayPlanes were flying in a few meters from the hotel every 2-3 mins. Sound proof was pretty good but still you could hear some moderate noise. Hot tub didn’t work

great hotel

Liked: The room was large and modern, and very close to the airport. The extra facilities were excellent; a decent sized gym for a hotel, a good sized swimming pool for a hotel, a sauna (dry spa) and a steam room (wet spa). Breakfast was reasonably good. There was a free shuttle bus to/from the airport at all times, and from the airport there was a direct express train (the UP Express) to the very centre by the CN tower; the layover return ticket valid for 7 hours was only $12 CAD, so this was a very cheap option, although it was rather time-consuming (the train journey to the centre was 40 minutes, and then add 15 mins wait to get the shuttle bus, though that was only 5 minutes from the hotel).
Disliked: Breakfast was a restaurant-style service rather than buffet-style, so some days it was very slow. Coffee at breakfast was just pretty poor filter coffee.

Not worth the price at...

Liked: Only good thing to say about this place is that Tatiana is a wonderful staff member. She was very polite and helpful. Made our stay better.
Disliked: Certain staff members where not helpful at all, it wasn’t until we got very frustrated about so called fees is when they decided to change their story and be accommodating. Hot tub was out of service, room wasn’t the cleanest, seen black hair all over the bathroom, no arm chair at all, there was a table chair in place of a arm chair should be. I had to call the front desk to see if we could get one. They did get us one but it was all stained.
