Reasonable price for reasonable accommodations

Liked: The shower was aggressive. I mean that in the best way possible. The water pressure and sheer volume were amazing. The staff were really nice. There are several places to eat or get coffee nearby, a few even within easy walking distance. We realized at checkout that the floral arrangements left over from our event were taking up too much room in the car, but it made me sad to throw them out because they were pretty (and definitely not inexpensive). I asked the front desk staff, who was happy to take them off our hands. I know it seems like a silly thing, but they were doing us a favor and it made me happy to know other people would get to enjoy them instead of them just going to the garbage.
Disliked: We checked in during a storm and the power flickered, causing the system to reboot. This is NOT the hotel's fault, but it did mean that check-in took longer than expected. We extended our stay by a night during check-in and on that second day, our key cards stopped working. I'm not sure if it had anything to do with the reboot during check-in or not, but it was definitely inconvenient, especially since we had an event to get ready for. The beds had a waffle blanket that was actually really scratchy. The shower curtain wouldn't extend to the ends of the rod and kept moving back toward the middle, meaning the floor got wet at every shower. The bathroom was also just tiny, so that made it worse

Liked: Liked so much we returned the next week for a stop on our drive home. -clean-comfortable beds-breakfast with a ton of choices (and an espresso machine!)-great location-friendly staff
