Superb

A good place to stay.

Liked: Very very clean . The bedroom was unusually large . Front desk was great. The motel was quiet in spite of a large group staying there.
Disliked: As in the usual older motel, the bathroom was rather awkward and had no fan. Breakfast room had an awkward step up to dining area.

Clean, comfortable hotel in downtown...

Liked: Very nice hotel. The room was quiet, clean and well maintained. Comfortable beds and plenty of pillows. Bathroom was basic but in good shape. Breakfast was quite nice and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Location in downtown Wooster was very convenient.
Disliked: The reception on the TV would go in and out depending on the time of day. I assume an issue with the satellite system they were on. My review would be higher except for the fact that the hot water heater broke while we were there, so for two of the three nights we had no hot water. Bad timing, but hard to give a top review when that happens. However, the staff worked very hard to provide alternate arrangements for those that wanted them or, for those us who stayed, steep discounts.

Liked: We loved the location being downtown. The lobby, staff and facilities were welcoming and comfortable.
Disliked: If I had to dislike anything it would be that the coffee maker was in the closet and didn’t look like it had been maintained. Also there was no fan in the bathroom.

Enjoyed our stay and will...

Liked: Easy to make reservations, easy to check in, very courteous and professional staff. The location is easy to find and provides lots of parking. The lobby was clean and comfortable, lots of seating.
Disliked: The elevator was small, when using the luggage cart and fitting my family in it too.

Prices too high for this...

Liked: We are very familiar with this facility. A few years ago we helped host a convention there. It has had a few small upgrades since then.
Disliked: 1. Elevator still needs upgraded too small for the amount of people using it. Either another elevator needs to be placed elsewhere in the hotel or the current only one made larger somehow. Yes, there are stairs near the elevator but older persons such as myself have difficulty with stairs even tho’ there was not an exorbitant of them!2. More Breakfast attendants. The ones they had could not keep up with the flow of people. While trying to switch out pans on the warmers, one pan of fried eggs just sat on the counter for about 5 minutes getting cold before getting put on a warmer. Not a good health practice.Price for that Friday night ( which we were there for an event at the fairgrounds) was way too expensive. Location was good, but perhaps we should seek out a lower price next time we are in town!

Disliked: Bad luck that a new staff member was being trained at front desk when I arrived. Senior staff member was too busy to help him figure things out.
