Liked: Fabulous staff, food was lovely but expensive
Disliked: Problems with dog friendly room, along with two other guests the same night despite having booked and emailed confirming bringing dog. We had to wait half an hour outside for a room to be made ready. At £20 per night to bring a dog we expected better! The room was lovely when we finally got in. There were no bins onsite for dog poo and very few areas to walk the dog except on the golf course which isn't ideal when it's full of golfers. We weren't told you can eat in the bar which would have been much more economical.

Liked: Lovely welcome upon arrival, room was clean and plenty of hot water. Cooked breakfast was lovely with lots to choose from.
Disliked: The evening food was terrible, it was supposed to be fine dining in the upstairs restaurant, and the price reflects that it's supposed to be fine dining, I had the rib of beef, and it was just mainly tough gristle. I sent it back and on the back of that I didnt order anything else and ended up having a porridge pot in my room. Apart from that , everything else was good.

Liked: The location was good for what we needed for a weekend.
Disliked: The whole reason why we booked this hotel was to make use of the swimming pool. It would have been good if the hotel had advised us that there was a problem with the pool where they had to refill so it was cold!

Liked: the spa facility were good( apart from pool freezing cold) food was excellent. hotel lovely. rooms very tiered and need updating. wasn’t very clean.
Disliked: our room. stayed on lodge 12 very small tiered and cleaning standard of room was poor. bed was uncomfortable didn’t sleep well

Liked: I love the little "cottage" rooms. Loved steam room.The bed was super comfortable.The parking next to rooms is awesome! Verry friendly cleaning lady who nocked at our door 28.05.2023 (defenetly need a reward) she was verry polite and nice to ask if we needed something 😊 thank you!
Disliked: The swimming pool water could be a little bit warmer. The lamp shades was verry dusty.We had only one towel in our room. One small and one large for two people.
